CPD Approved This event is approved for CPD

A science policy event for Member Organisations after the RSB AGM 2026.

Join us for this interactive event designed to provide a high level update on RSB's ongoing science policy work across priority areas, enable an open Q&A discussion, and offer Member Organisations a space to highlight any emerging, urgent, or important issues that you believe RSB should consider within its future policy activity. It will provide an opportunity to meet and engage with colleagues from the Science Policy Team, as well as other Member Organisations, which we hope will allow attendees to build new connections, spark conversation and strengthen collaboration across networks.

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to give a 2 minute flash talk (maximum 1 slide) to showcase an issue, project, or initiative they would like to bring to the attention of RSB and fellow Member Organisations - particularly where it highlights emerging priorities or opportunities for collaboration. Submissions should be sent to events@rsb.org.uk

Please note spaces are limited, so these will be decided on a first-come-first-served basis.

This event will take place immediately after the RSB Annual General Meeting 2026. Attendees who are not also attending the AGM are welcome to arrive for lunch at 13:15 - 14:00, with the event starting at 14:00.

Who should attend?

This event is open to RSB Member Organisations only, and will be of interest to policy team leaders, or policy representatives, who may also be involved with the Animal Science Group or Plant Science Group. We welcome one representative per organisation.

Advance registration is essential through the link at the top of the page by Wednesday 29 April.
