Join the Royal Society of Biology for our Friday Biology Week event, where we will be welcoming a panel of speakers from the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) to discuss their unique careers and the fascinating, vital research they carry out.
Discover how life exists at extreme temperatures, what cells can reveal about survival in the cold, and how new, cutting-edge technology is being developed to operate at sub-zero temperatures, helping us to understand life at the molecular level. The BAS's work spans biology, chemistry, physics and engineering, bringing expertise from across disciplines to drive new discoveries and support efforts to tackling climate change for a more sustainable future.
