Discover how to embed employability meaningfully into your bioscience curriculum
Discover how to embed employability meaningfully into your bioscience curriculum in this engaging, practice-focused workshop. Drawing on our award winning work with a large, diverse cohort, we'll share how authentic, employer-informed assessments and work-related learning boost engagement, inclusion, and graduate readiness.
We'll explore practical ways to build teamwork, communication, and problem-solving into your teaching through real-world, scaffolded activities. You'll take part in hands-on tasks, including mapping work-related learning to your modules and designing authentic assessments.
Hear directly from students about their experiences, and how skills-based modules supported our Royal Society of Biology accreditation, including recognised good practice in developing teamwork. There'll be time to connect with colleagues, swap ideas, and learn what's working elsewhere. You'll leave with ready-to-use approaches you can apply in your teaching.
