An immersive neuroscience outreach event inviting local high school students to Baylor College of Medicine for lab tours, hands-on experiments, and career mentorship.


New-Bee Neuroscience is an immersive outreach initiative designed to introduce high school students from under-resourced communities in Houston to the world of neuroscience.

Hosted by the Department of Neuroscience, Baylor College of Medicine, the event features interactive lab tours, hands-on experiments, and career mentorship sessions with MD/PhD researchers.

Students will gain first-hand experience in a working laboratory environment, aiming to demystify scientific research and inspire the next generation of neuroscientists.

Please note this is a targeted outreach program for specific under-resourced schools, who will be invited specifically.
