A joint online event for bioscience leaders and educators, focusing on employability, inclusive curriculum design, and student success across the biosciences.
HUBS and HUCBMS are pleased to announce a joint online event for bioscience leaders and educators, focusing on employability, inclusive curriculum design, and student success across the biosciences.
The event will bring together invited speakers from across the sector to share practical, evidence-informed approaches to embedding employability within curricula, designing inclusive assessment and feedback, and developing scalable placement-led opportunities. Sessions will combine keynote insights with applied case studies and panel-based discussion, offering delegates concrete ideas they can take back to their own institutions.
Speakers
Invited contributors include Professor Claire Pike (University of East Anglia), Dr Laura Pellatt (University of Greenwich), Dr Sophie Martucci and Samantha Wilson-Thain (University of Warwick), and Dr Beth Lawry (Newcastle University), with opening and closing contributions from the HUBS and HUCBMS leadership.

This event is open to bioscience educators from HUBS and/or HUCBMS member institutions. If you are unsure whether your institution is a HUBS or HUCBMS member, please contact hubs@rsb.org.uk
Cost and booking
This event is free to attend and advance registration is required. Bookings will close at 23:59 on Friday 20 February.
