In this free, one hour lecture, Professor Mike Lean, Professor of Human Nutrition at the University of Glasgow, Fellow of Downing College Cambridge and co-principal investigator of the DiabetesUK funded DiRECT diabetes remission trial, will give the fourth Howard Lecture in which his work leading to the diabetes remission programmes now rolled out in England, Scotland, Qatar, Nepal and Australia will be described.
