Join us for a new Chartered Week 2026 event designed to guide you through routes to RSB membership and professional registration

This event will take place on Wednesday 25 February from 13:00-14:00 GMT.

Chartered Week is a national awareness week bringing together people and organisations across sectors to shine a light on professional registration and its impact in society today. Running from 23 to 27 February, the theme for the week is Celebrating Trusted Professionals. It's a great opportunity for us to recognise the work of professionally registered biologists whose conduct and commitment help to strengthen the public's trust in our evolving profession.

Not yet registered? Chartered Week is the perfect time to explore the registration pathways open to you.

Programme

The event will open with an introduction on the theme of Celebrating Trusted Professionals from Dr Doug Brown CBiol FRSB, RSB Chief Executive. This exclusive webinar will then explore the routes to RSB membership, and the benefits of becoming a member, before introducing the range of professional registers available to Society members. Learn how the application process works and how to maintain your registration. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions directly to the RSB team.

Audience

This event is open to all, but will be particularly relevant to individuals currently working in roles related to biology.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

This event is approved by the Royal Society of Biology for purposes of CPD and can be counted as 3 CPD points.
