Biology Week: Networking and Awards Ceremony
A bioscience networking and awards ceremony celebrating the achievements of our members and bioscience enthusiasts.

When? Wednesday 15 October 2025, 18:30 to 21:30
Where? Churchill Room, House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA

A networking and awards ceremony celebrating the achievements of our members and bioscience enthusiasts


Prizes will be presented for our: 

  • Photography Competition - Capturing nature and climate in photographs
  • School Biology Teacher of the Year award - Identifying the UK's leading secondary education teachers
  • Apprentice of the Year Award - Recognising apprentice's contributions to their teams and the wider bioscience community
  • BioArtAttack (2D) - Drawing competition for 7-18 year old's
  • The President's Medal - Awarded to individuals who have supported the RSB in an exceptional way
An event programme will be available to download ahead of the event. 

Attendance at this event is by invitation only. RSB members can apply to attend through the members ballot.

Event timings 

18:30  - Guests arrival with registration and welcome drink and canapés
19:00  -  Awards Ceremony commences
19:35  -  Networking with drinks and canapés
21:30  -  Event close
