BAG, BEN & ECLBio Joint Workshop: Gaining and evidencing inclusive education skills

This is a joint online workshop from the three HUBS-supported networks (Bioscience Awarding Gap - BAG; Bioscience Educators' Network - BEN; Early Career Lecturers in Bioscience - ECLBio), taking place on Wednesday 11th June 2025, 10:00 - 13:00 over Zoom.

Higher education providers must ensure all students are given an equal opportunity to succeed. The aim of the event is to discuss inclusive education practice, and for delegates to develop individual actions and goals appropriate for their specific career stage. Our speakers (Prof. Katharine Hubbard, Dr Yusra Siddiqui and Dr Dom Henri) will share best practices. Representatives from Advance HE will highlight how efforts can be formally recognised in the context of professional development. There will be dedicated time for discussions and networking. Attendees will be encouraged to consider collaborative projects across HE institutions.

The workshop programme is available for download here.

Registration

This workshop is free and open to attendees from all HUBS member institutions. Advance booking is essential and can be completed via the 'Book this event' button at the top of the page. The Zoom meeting link will be circulated with registered attendees ahead of the event.
